National Osteoporosis Society

An important part of the NOS’ work is to influence Government and national policy-makers to ensure that osteoporosis is prioritised and appropriately placed in health and social care policy.

NOS Research Grants Programme

Since 1994 the NOS has awarded over £2.3 million to support research project grants and studentships that are consistent with its aims to improve the treatment, support and services available for people with osteoporosis and those potentially at risk from the disease in the UK.
