'63'

Number 63 Bayswater Road, known simply to Soroptimists around the world as '63', is a boutique hotel offering three star AA-rated accommodation in the heart of London.
This fine Victorian terraced house is ideally situation, adjacent to Lancaster Gate underground station and overlooking Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. There have been many generous legacies and gifts over the years, including two large bequests in 2004 that have enabled all bedrooms to now have private facilities.
Change of name
At the 63rd AGM, held in London on 21 January 2012, members voted to change the name from Soroptimist Residential Club (SHQ) Ltd to Number 63 (Soroptimist) Limited.
The freehold of 63 was purchased by our SIGBI Federation in 1948.

Shareholding
Every Soroptimists should consider supporting 63 by becoming a shareholder. Shareholders who purchase 20 or more shares will be entitled to a 5% discount on their accommodation. A share application form may be downloaded at the link.
500 Club
The 500 Club is a £1 a month prize draw, open only to Soroptimists. Each month 45% of subscriptions is paid out in prize money, 5% goes to administration and the remaining 50% goes to the maintenance of 63. Since its inception in 1995, the 500 Club had contributed approximately £40,000 to the upkeep of 63. For an application form to join the 500 club, go to the link.
2000 Club
The 2000 Club was launched in 2000. This is a £1 a month prize draw; 50% of members' subscriptions being returned in prize money each month. In addition there are two bumper prize draws that take place twice a year, the top prize each time is £1,000, two prizes of £500 and two prizes of £250 each for each of those two draws.
