The Asha Centre
The club supports the Asha Centre, a service for disadvantaged women many of whom are survivors of domestic abuse. The club has raised funds and is working in partnership with the Lions to hold a fund raising event. Members also give service. One member is a trustee who recruits and supports volunteers, another supports Bangladeshie women in a community sewing project. One member teaches basic skills and one member teaches basic computer skills.
A Day of Reflection
In line with Federation President, Carwen Wynn Howell's Day of Reflection, members of Kidderminster met to set out a plan of work for their year on their Reflection Day.
