UKPAC MEETING

Our Saturday meetings (held three times a year) start at 9am and finish promptly at 3pm. If you would like to sit in on a meeting as an observer do let us know. You don't have to be a member of your club's or Region's Programme Action team, all Soroptimists in the UK are very welcome. We'd really love to see you!

UK ANTI-SLAVERY DAY/EU ANTI TRAFFICKING DAY

18th October marks the UK’s second Anti-Slavery Day, first introduced by the government as a result of lobbying by ECPAT UK and other organisations working to combat human trafficking and modern forms of slavery.
18th October 2011 also marks the fifth anniversary of the EU Anti-Trafficking Day. More information on this can be found on the European Women's Lobby website

Human Rights Day is celebrated annually across the world on 10 December. This date is also Soroptimist International Day and is commemorate by launching an International President’s Appeal on this day each year.
