The FGM NCG is a multidisciplinary group of health care professionals and advisors who are independent and currently unfunded. They have all been involved in work with women affected by FGM and other related problems.

They are committed to improving the lives of women and their daughters who are at risk of FGM via co-ordinated clinical networks and research.
