UKPAC Strategic Aims

STRATEGIC AIMS 2007-11

The following Strategic Aims provide guidelines for UKPAC work during the period 2007-11 and may be amended as new issues emerge. In all its work, the UKPAC will be guided by the International Mission Statement.

1. General UKPAC Programme Aims

1.1     To work with SI Programme Focus Goals and Objectives topics for 2007-11

1.2     To take action on Federation Conference Motions.

1.3     To progress action on the UKPAC Flagship Project: Violence against Women.

1.4     To progress issues raised with UKPAC by Regions.

1.5     To respond to government initiatives and consultation documents both from
           the specialist viewpoint and as working women.

1.6     To organise an annual Study Day and act on issues raised.

1.7     To encourage clubs to take action on conference motions and other UKPAC
           initiatives.

1.8     To work with and act on reports received from the Federation Programme
            Director, Assistant Federation Programme Directors and UKPAC
            representatives.
