Contact the Elderly

On the last Sunday of each month, members provide teas for elderly local people, through a partnership with 'Contact the Elderly'. The visitors are collected by members in their cars and taken to Soroptimist House in Carmarthen, where other members act as hostesses. It is a good opportunity for the visitors to go out, meet others, develop friendships, enjoy good food and take home doggy bags!

 

 

 

Licking Lassa Fever

Club members are collecting bras; they are sold to a recycling company, the monies going to Licking Lassa Fever, The bras are then sent to Africa and sold in street markets.
