PINWHEELS FOR PEACE

Manchester - pinwheel

Soroptimist International of Manchester are organising an event for International Peace Day and it will be held on the weekend of 22nd 23rd September 2007, at Heaton Park in North Manchester.

The event is to be called “Pinwheels for Peace” and club members together with other organisations and the general public are invited to make a pinwheel and plant it in a designated area in Heaton Park.

The directions for making the pinwheel can be found on the website www.pinwheelsforpeace.com and it will be decorated on one side with a picture depicting peace and on the other side some words explaining what peace means to the person who has made it.

This club does not, currently, have a website
