Project SIerra walk in Ashdown Forest

Pooh sticks in Ashdown Forest

In September last year, over £900 was raised for Project SIerra at the Women Walking for Women event in Ashdown Forest. Federation President Hilary-Kay Young and International Liaison Officer for Project SIerra, Alison Sutherland, joined members, their families and friends as they walked, explored the forest, played 'Pooh Sticks' on Pooh Bridge and enjoyed a delicious cream tea.

 

Only when desperate report

Report on accessible toilets at railway stations.

This report entitled Only when desperate collates the findings of a survey carried out by clubs countrywide on the provision of accessible toilets on railway stations. This is the latest in a series prepared by the Soroptimist Rail Safety Task Force on aspects of passenger safety and comfort.
