SI Bolton

Club donates bedding

President Sue Whitter of SI Bolton presenting a box of bedding to Ray Collett, chairman of B.R.A.S.S. (Befriending Refugees and Asylum Seekers) watched by staff members Sylvie and Malcolm.

B.R.A.S.S provides a drop in centre for refugees and asylum seekers in Bolton, and a support and food parcels for destitute asylum seekers – those who have been refuse refugee status but who cannot be returned to their own countries and from whole all official support has been withdrawn.

Members of SI Bolton have responded to appeals for bedding and warm clothing, have befriended two women with teenage children and have also passed on household goods and furniture to those who need it.
