Burns' Supper

Bentley Hotel chef, and club member Teresa McDonald look on as Nan Duncan addresses the haggis at the 250th anniversary celebrations of Robert Burns' birth.

All entertainment was provided by club members. Pictured below are Linda Miller, Anne Morrison, Jennifer Moffat, IPP Anne Kerr and Christine Johnston, accompanying on the keyboard. Christine has contributed many items to the programme over many years, and has recently been presented with two awards, a crystal vase for her 40 years continuous service to Braidhurst High School, Motherwell, and a crystal rosebowl from Depute Provost Councillor Jim Robertson for her outstanding community service which included 20 years with the school choir, now in its 20th year.
