Sixth Public Speaking Competition

Triumph once again for SI Rugby, when thirteen students from schools across the Region took part in the Midland Arden Region’s 6th Public Speaking Competition at Summerhill School, Dudley on 16 March 2008.

Amy Hazlehurst, a dynamic young speaker from Rugby High School spoke on the topic There is more to life than increasing it’s speed, and was awarded the First Prize of £100.00 and took back to school the Trophy for one year.

It was a joy and an honour to have Federation President Marguerite Woodstock-Riley as quest of honour.
