Sponsored Cycle ride

In April Club President Elect, Anne Rutherford, cycled 58 miles around north east Fife to raise money for Project SIerra. She worked out a route, which included St. Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther, Cupar and Newport, in order to pass the homes of all the club members. Her cycle ride ended triumphantly in St. Andrews, to the cheers of club members who had gathered to welcome her and salute her great achievement. Sponsorship money is still coming but total raised so far is £1,202.40. The Club has marked Anne’s remarkable achievement by presenting her with a special Fund-Raiser Award Certificate at the AGM on 23rd April, in recognition for her notable contribution made to the fund-raising activities of the Club.

Gardening

The maintenance of Rymonth Housing Society garden is an on going project that the club has undertaken for some years. They have cleared one large border area of weeds and planted it out and planted up pots in the patio area.

Pamper Day

The club treated some young Mums to a "Pamper Day" at the Scores Hotel. Coffee on arrival, palm reading, cookery demonstration followed by lunch and finally a make up demonstration. On the feed back the comment was, "All had a truly lovely time and said it was fantastic- they enjoyed all of it."
