SI Dundee
Abseiling for Project SIerra
Club members abseiled recently to raise funds for the International Quadrennial Project SIerra.
Award for Club

Five club members recently attended a reception in Dundee City Chambers where they were receiving an award for the Vice Versa Project they help with. This project helps women involved in street prostitution and was the winning entry for the Community Safety Award. They had a fun evening and met with the winners of the six other award categories including diversity, education, health and wellbeing etc. Vice Versa also won a Tayside Police Safety award.

New School
Pictured left is the new school that SI South Kolkata has started in one of the really poor areas of the city with money raised by SI Dundee during the year.

Members and friends took to the floor enjoying an evening of Latin American music and dance. £500 was raised which will go to support SI South Kolkata health, education and vocational training projects for women and girls. A great night was had by all!

They also had a stall in City Square and sold copies of a Spices Quiz.

Working in partnership with the groups involved in Dundee Women's Festival Fortnight (around International Womens Day) Dundee Club collected over 1700 bras and donated them to Oxfam in Dundee City Square on 15th March
